A Fallen Star

Heart beat stops when the room is void.

A tear hits the closed door, there is noise.

A fallen star rings loud through the night sky.

Run from the black holes pull, I dare not try.

Eyes locked in, voices speaking, ears closed shut.

Relish misery for just a moment, head still up.

Through the fray, you hear the fallen star again.

Clouds of hope help the heart remain, beating like a Subtle rain.
