William Brumley
Eternity Wrapped in Certainty
Updated: Apr 24, 2022

Void of oxygen and matter
The image of you is oxidized
Breathe in breathe out
Multiple gasps for air
Feeling smothered by your absence
All I can do is remind myself
To breathe, just breathe
Though, it is never easy
Forever to me is eternity
Wrapped in uncertainty
I write poetry because I want You, the reader to feel something. I struggle with terrible anxiety. Writing poetry has been my escape and my passion that can keep my anxious thoughts at bay. My hope is that my first poetry collection which will have blank pages. Will help people put their minds at ease. Even for those brief fleeting moments while writing. -WIlliam Thomas Brumley
