Her Spindle & Things

The spindle in front of her is a masquerade. 
She and her spindle dance with heartache, seeking internal inspiration. 
A little girl watches, her once ambitious interest turned into fleeting daydreams. 
The spindles moves fast, she moves faster.
Red crosses illuminate the wall behind them. (War Fund 1943) All these bountiful spectacles transfer their energy, one to another.
